ailing from North Carolina, Charlie Napier has a lifelong flair for the dramatic.

      Graduating from University of North Carolina, Asheville in 2013 with a Bachelors in Drama, Charlie focused on theater for young audiences. 

 

Between 2014-2018, Charlie was a cast member in over 300 murder mystery dinner shows, produced by The Murder Mystery Company (now known as American Immersion Theater), across the Carolinas, Georgia, and Kentucky. 

 

From 2018-2021, Charlie featured as an “edutainer” at Charlotte, North Carolina's Discovery Place Science, an all ages interactive museum that receives more than 750,000 guests per year.

In 2013, Charlie started his career as a Renaissance Festival entertainer, developing a street character, Franklin of Fertilizer as part of cast for The Carolina Renaissance Festival. Franklin was so well received, Charlie won The Best New Character Award that same year.

Franklin’s story evolved over time from street act to the stage production, with Charlie launching The Poop Show at The Carolina Renaissance Festival in 2021. Ever since, Franklin has been delighting (and disgusting) audiences of all ages at renaissance festivals, schools, libraries, science museums, and agricultural events.
